Chirton Pips Preschool 
'A Forest School'

Classes are run by our friendly and experienced team. Pips Manager, Sarah Jones has a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Forest School, level 3 and TQUK Level 2 in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health (RQF).  Sarah is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and completed her Safeguarding Refresher Training in September 2022.  Sarah completed her Forest School and Paediatric First Aid Training in December 2022.

Our Deputy Play Leader Tina Brown has a level 3 qualification in Children's care, Learning and Development.  Tina is our Special Needs Co-ordinator, she updates her SEN training constantly.  Her Paediatric First Aid Training was completed in June 2022.

 

Penny Daykin is one of our Key Workers and has a Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood and Education and completed her Forest School Level 3 in June 2022.  Penny is our Health and Safety Officer and completed her Paediatric First Aid Training in July 2020.

Emma Gye is another Key Worker she has City and Guilds Level 3 NVQ Childcare, Learning and development, her Paediatric First Aid was completed in June 2022.

Our members of staff undertake regular training courses to ensure that they are up-to-date with the standards required at the pre-school today. They are first aid trained and police checked regularly.
