About Us

Exploring our environment
We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life to help them reach their full potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. We aim to provide a secure, safe, happy, stimulating environment to help the make the most of their abilities.
To help us do this we work from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2021), where the aim is to help young children achieve the Early Learning Goals at the end of their Reception Year.
Our Aim is:
-
To inspire children to become life long learners
-
To give the children the opportunity to experience the awe and wonder of the world around them
-
To develop children's self confidence, resilience, independence and self belief
-
To ignite an interest in learning and discovery, creativity, books and stories
-
To help children build strong relationships with staff and their peers
-
To become physically strong and understand what a healthy lifestyle is
-
To encourage children to have open minds - to understand that everyone is entitled to have their own views, faith and beliefs.

We have three levels of Risk Assessment in place - annual, weekly and daily.
We record every child's progress through regular observation.

Safeguarding
Keeping the children safe at Pips is of the upmost importance to us.
-
Staff are DBS checked, First Aid Trained and have up-to-date Safeguarding training.
-
We teach the children how to stay safe when crossing the road.
CEOP is here to keep children safe from sexual abuse and grooming online.
You can make a report directly to the CEOP Safety Centre by clicking on the Click CEOP button if something has happened online which has made you feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone you know in real life, or someone you have only ever met online. CEOP take all reports seriously and we will do everything we can to keep you safe.
As well as making a report to the CEOP Safety Centre, the CEOP Education website has information and advice to help you if something has happened to you online.
