Safety always comes first!

Pre-school has several policies to enable the children to                have fair access to pre-school and when there, to play and            learn in a safe environment.

Here are listed the most important:

A copy of all the policies are available in the preschool lobby.  If you would like to familiarise yourselves  with them please ask a member of staff if you can pop in to read them; they are very important part of what we do. Please also feel free to comment or ask questions on anything you read, we will be happy to help.

The staff are constantly up-dating their Safeguarding knowledge.  This year we had Whole Site Training for all staff who work at Chirton School and Pips.

Helping your children stay safe online...

Help your child learn to be safe at home and when they are online - even from a very young age...

Top Tips to give your children when going online

  • Always ask an adult before you go online.

  • Ask an adult to check any new websites you want to play on

  • Don't tell strangers where you go to Pre-school or school.  Only your family and friends need to know that.

  • Don't send pictures to people you don't know.

  • Tell a grown up if you see a picture that you don't like or that upsets you

  • Talk to your children about our top tips, just as we teach them to cross the road safely or to be careful around animals or people they don't know.
